PROJECT: ROK M&E
Catterick Garrison, Supported Accommodation
Working as part of an integrated design team and working directly for ROK M&E. We provided innovative design support for the M&E scheme including multi linked air to water source heat pumps, intelligent lighting and heat recovery ventilation and supporting systems. Additionally we provided fabric support for the facility to enhance the already impressive timber framed building with large roof mounted solar panels to offset domestic water load. The total package achieved an EPC B rating.
The 3,400m2 facility is purpose built for servicemen to live in and learn new skills with the in house bakery and IT classrooms and support areas. The modern learning equipment rooms and interactive social and chill out areas in attractive surroundings help the tenants immensely to embrace new ideas.
The scheme was well briefed by the client and ensured that the client budget and scheme requirements were accurately and efficiently met by the design team.
